Export Steps
Sign in as Administrator
Open ChartLogic on a workstation that has been installed with the desktop client. Patient list export requires Administrator role; clinical-only roles cannot export.
Open Reports → Patient Demographics
Click "Reports" in the menu. Choose "Patient Demographics" from the report library. Set status filter to "All".
Run and Export
Click "Run Report". Once the data populates, click the export icon and choose CSV or Excel. Save to a HIPAA-compliant location.
Tip:
Excel export preserves date formatting better than CSV — recommended if your downstream tools expect MM/DD/YYYY.
Send via Secure Upload Link
Upload the file using the secure link your MedMasters account manager provided. Do not email the CSV file directly — patient contact data must be transmitted securely.
Note:
Never send patient data as a plain email attachment. Patient data sent over unencrypted email violates HIPAA. Use only the secure upload link provided by MedMasters.
Field Availability
Which MedMasters data fields are available in this EHR export.
Known Quirks
Field names use no-spaces CamelCase — easy to script against but unusual for end users.
Some accounts use the legacy "Practice Manager" interface — export path is similar but menu labels differ.
Pro Tips
ChartLogic supports custom report templates — build a "Reactivation Export" template once and reuse.
EncounterCount may include cancelled visits — filter to status=Completed if you want true visits only.
