Modern cloud-native dental practice management built for DSOs
Log In to tab32
Open your browser and navigate to app.tab32.com. Enter your administrator email and password and click "Sign In". tab32 is fully cloud-based — no desktop installation is required.
Tip:
You need Admin or Practice Manager access to export patient data from tab32. Dentist logins may have limited access to the Reports section.
Navigate to the Reports Section
In the top navigation bar or left sidebar, click "Reports". The tab32 reporting center will open.
Open Patient Reports
In the Reports section, locate the "Patient" category. Click on "Patient List" or "Patient Report" to open the patient report configuration screen.
Set Filters for Full Patient Export
Configure the report: set Patient Status to "All" to include both active and inactive patients. Set the date range to "All Time" or leave it open. If your practice has multiple locations, you can filter by individual location or select "All Locations". Click "Run" or "Generate Report".
Tip:
tab32 is used by many DSO (Dental Service Organization) group practices with multiple locations. The "All Locations" setting gives you a consolidated export across all your practice sites.
Export to CSV
Once the report loads, find the "Export" button at the top of the results. Click it and select "Export to CSV". The file will download to your browser's default download folder.
Tip:
tab32 is API-first — if you have technical staff, the tab32 API (api.tab32.com) can be used to pull patient data programmatically. For non-technical exports, the Reports UI is the easiest path.
Send to MedMasters
Upload the downloaded CSV using the secure MedMasters upload link provided by your account manager.
Note:
Do not email patient data. Always use the secure MedMasters upload portal.
Which MedMasters data fields are available in this EHR export.
tab32 is designed primarily for DSO (group dental) practices — it handles multi-location exports well
tab32 is an API-first platform, so developers can use the REST API to pull patient data if needed
tab32 is modern and cloud-native — the export is clean and all 8 required fields are usually available in a single report
For DSO practices with many locations, use the "All Locations" filter for a consolidated export, or filter by location to pull sites individually
Got your export? Now what?
The Storage & Handoff Playbook covers verifying, securing, and using the data for compliance, migration, or analytics.
